It's a 1992 Mitsubishi, therefore it knows smoke screen.

But that's good right? It lowers an opponent's accuracy.

As a '92 GVR4 owner, stay away, far away.

I tried to edit my post buuuuuuut it didn't work.

GVR4's have fairly expensive and frequent maintenance intervals, parts are fast becoming scarce (body/interior), examples that have been fiddled with can be quite problematic, the COP setup is actually an ignition downgrade if not executed in conjunction with a ignition amplifier/CDI box, hidden rust issues are common etc.

If you are seriously interested in this example I'd have the owner put the stock coils/NGK plug wires back on it, have him remove the rear dog legs and take a look for rust as it commonly forms there, and make him pinky swear that the trans is good to go. A stock rebuilt trans will run you about 800/900 bucks plus core and or uninstall/reinstall and that would be the first "mod" every DSM or GVR4 should have after a general checkup. Every single 1st generation DSM or GVR4 that I've come into contact with has had a beat down junk gearbox in them from the get-go. I really like my GVR4, but I would never wish it on anyone, and I would only even consider buying one if it came from the south.

I'll say NP. A buddy of mine had a white one. We hooned the crap out of it. Unfortunately it was lost in a fire. I don't generally care for Mitsus, but I have a soft spot for these & the 4G63 because of that car.

I am always super weary about old cars for pretty high asking prices with a "MODS" list. IMHO $4,000 could go a lot further elsewhere.

+ this: "ACT clutch pretty sure like a 2600 and street disc." S/He doesn't even know?
